Purpose:
If you encounter audio problems while using Freshdesk in Google Chrome, consider checking the following options to troubleshoot and resolve.
Instructions:
1. Freshdesk setting
1.1 Ensure the following option in Freshdesk is switched on (go to the Phone icon > View All > Your Profile Settings):
2. Check Volume
2.1 Ensure your device's volume is not muted or set too low
4. Jabra headset
4.1 If you encounter problems with your Jabra headset where you cannot hear any sound, and if you can see that there are two different options for Jabra, as shown in the screenshot below, choose the "Headset" option instead of the "Headphones" option
5. Chrome settings
5.1 In Chrome’s Settings, please ensure that Mic and Sound are ‘Allowed’
6. Restart Chrome
6.1 Close and reopen the Chrome browser may resolve temporary glitches.
7. Laptop restart
7.1 Consider a laptop restart which can fix lingering audio issues
