Before starting this guide, make sure you have set an 8-digit numeric or alphanumeric PIN on your phone.
Please ensure the user is a member of the "Android Enterprise Device onboard" group in Azure, else they will be unable to authenticate.
- Install “Install Company Portal” from the Play Store
- Open the app and select “Sign In”
- Enter your Maddocks email address when prompted
- On the next screen, select HYPR Authentication and then the phone symbol
- Select “Click Here to login manually”. A code with an address and code will be presented.
- Switch over to your HYPR app, click on the QR code symbol and select “Enter code manually”
- You will need to enter the code within 30 seconds of generation. Otherwise, you will need to start the Comp Portal process from the sign-in stage again.
- Once you see the “Login successful” message on HYPR, switch back to Comp Portal.
- Comp Portal will then ask you to authenticate with MFA, please enter the code displayed on your screen
- Wait 20 seconds for Comp Portal to register the successful login and select “Begin”
- Comp Portal will provide the steps to progress. Press next on each step.
- When this screen appears, select “Continue”, this will initiate the registration process
- The final screen will advise that the setup is completed and to open the “Work Badged” version of Play Store to install any work apps.
- Default apps will download automatically (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc…)
- For Outlook and Teams, open each app and select “Add Account”. Enter your Maddocks email when prompted.
