Provisoning Cloud PCs


To provision a Cloud PC for a user, add the user to "Cloud PC Users" group in Entra ID.

  • Provisioning takes about 2 hours. However, ideally the Cloud PC would be provisioned the day before (or earlier).
  • The provisioning status can be monitored in Intune here:



Note: If the user tries to connect straight after the provisioning completes, they may get an error. They’ll just need to wait another 5 or 10 minutes for the process to actually complete



De-provisoning Cloud PCs


To de-provision a Cloud PC for a user, simply remove the user from the "Cloud PC Users" group in Entra ID.


The Cloud PC will move into a grace period state (see below) for 7 days. This is to protect against accidental de-provisinong. After the 7 days, it will be automtically deleted.
