Connecting to Cloud PCs for remote support


To connect remotely to a Cloud PC, you can use BT Remote Support as you would with a normal Windows 11 machine. There are some things to be aware of though:

  • Cloud PCs are not searchable by username in the BT console. You'll need to search for their Cloud PC name (i.e. CPC-.........)
  • The screen sharing functionality will only work if the user has an active session to the Cloud PC. Wait until they have a session, then establish a "jump" session to the Cloud PC.



Using Admin Credentionals (Elevation)


HYPR is not currently installed on Cloud PC (this is being looked into). However, if you need to use admin credentials (e.g. to install/repair apps etc.) you can use the local admin account.


Account details:

  • Username: BuiltInAdmin
  • Passwords: Different for each Cloud PC. Needs to be retrieved from inTune. See below.


To retrieve the local admin password: 

  1. In inTune, browse to Devices -> Windows 365 -> All Cloud PCs.
  2. Click on the user's Cloud PC.
  3. Select the "Local admin password" node. You can retrieve the passwords by clicking "Show local administrator password".
